Does your farm or rural business need a financial boost?

If so, you are invited to apply for grant funding from the Fieldfare LEADER programme. Applicants only have until the end of August 2018 to bid for a share of £1.6 million which is currently available.

To help applicants navigate their way through the Fieldfare process, one-to-one support is provided every step of the way. Tailored guidance and a project sponsor will help you to complete the paperwork and meet the deadline for applications.

Over 150 rural projects have benefited so far. For example, farmers who need to tag their livestock, organic food producers requiring new equipment, and rural entrepreneurs seeking to diversify their operations. All applications are carefully considered and grants range in value from £2,500 to £100,000.

A Fieldfare Applicant Information Workshop is being held on Tuesday 5 June at the Guildhall in Winchester and all prospective applicants are invited to come along and find out more.

Binsted Parish Asset Review

We are currently conducting a review of the Binsted Parish Assets and would love to hear your thoughts and ideas about them and how they can best serve the community going forwards.

To that end an online survey for your responses has been created and is found here

There are three sections to this survey, general questions regarding interest levels for activities on offer currently and potentially in future, specific questions regarding the Parish assets and feedback on the council activities

Please do look and let us know your views.

Thank you.

Operation Resilience – SD-EH18001 – A325 Farnham Road, Sleaford – Road Closure Notification

From Hampshire Highways:
I am writing to you to inform you of our intention to carry out preparation crack sealing and patching works on the A325 Farnham Road, Sleaford between the B3004 and County Border. The works are currently programmed to commence on Monday 9th April 2018 and are expected to last for 5 nights. These repairs are in preparation for the 2018/19 surface treatment programme to be carried out from May 2018.
Whilst the preparation patching is carried out, every effort will be made to minimise disruption to highway users, although for Health and Safety reasons this work will require a road closure. The closure will only be active during the hours of 20:00 – 06:00, with delays expected during this period. As much notification will be provided to the public as possible via signage erected on the road. The overarching programme is extensive and changes to dates and times are likely, and often at short notice. The pre warning signs will be updated as soon as possible to help inform the travelling public.
